Do residents pay their own utilities?
Yes, just as with any other home owner, all your utilities are billed by the
provider directly to you. Gas and electric in the community are provided by
Northern Illinois Gas and ComEd. Water, sewer, and waste removal services are
provided by the Village of Manteno and Homewood Disposal. Trash pickup is included
with your rent.

What does 55 years and better really mean?
While no person residing in any unit may be 18 years of age or younger,
only one of the members of a couple need be at least 55 years of
age. Additionally, for those buyers under the age of 55, there
is still hope. A limited number of homes may be sold to people
under 55 years of age!
